Victoria Camille is a dedicated native Detroiter and a passionate advocate for community safety and police accountability. She embodies the belief that the police force must operate under the strict subordination of civil authority, as stated in the Detroit City Charter. Victoria views safety holistically and advocates for community choice, empowerment, engagement, and education in all areas that affect our daily lives - safety, wellness, environment, housing, food, learning, economic, etc.

Victoria is proud mother of two adult children and a loving caretaker of her aunt and their fur-babies. She finds joy in gardening and time outdoors, reading, cooking, prayer and reflection, and fostering community connections through shared meals and conversations. Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Davenport University and possesses over 20 years of leadership experience. She is a certified Wilderness EMT and a nationally registered EMT.
